BIO

Studio Enter is an Amsterdam based studio founded by Daphne Westland, an artist and designer,

working within the field of creative direction and set design from spatial design to still life.

Having trained as a graphic designer and worked for several advertising agencies,
Daphne moved on to apply her aptitude for bold typography to the art direction,
design (and re-design) of mostly life style and fashion editorial titles during the last 15 years.

Daphne has been praised for her distinct eye for detail, her ability to underline a message through visuals,
her openness and enthusiasm for new techniques, designers and photographers and her great passion
for art and design. She has been nominated numerous times for her art direction.

When completed the Art Direction Mastered program in 2017 to better understand the challenges
of the business she faces everyday, she realized her true passion was in interior, set design and still life.

Her work can be described as bold and simple, a mix of play, color, humor and graphic sets.
She likes to play with different types of materials, textures and colors taking care
of the composition and the lighting, applying storytelling to communicate the brand values.

Currently she's exploring the boundaries between surrealism and realism by applying 3D rendering techniques.
Therefore she teamed up with visual designer Paolo Faleschini and photographer Marta Musial and started the collective L'ASSEMBLAGE,
a multi-disciplinary creative collective coming from the fashion, architecture and advertising industries.

To collaborate with brands combining their products in imaginary worlds is an opportunity
to further enrich the conceptual content of my work.
